Mindfulness

What happened to quality of life? Most people are not aware that many of the reasons they are unhealthy is due to stress. Stress affects the human body more than we care to admit and therefore more than we realize. The time is now – we need a revolutionary change! As the lifespan of humans increases, there needs to be more importance placed on how to maintain healthy minds, bodies and spirits as a general yet essential goal of health care. Therefore, I am determined to become an integral resource within this movement towards overall health and well-being. I found my purpose – health coaching.

So thus I went on an expedition of self-care. I traveled to places throughout Europe I had always wanted to explore experiencing wellness in many different forms. The practice of Mindfulness found me and so I trained with organizations such as Wake Up and Binley Farm, in England. Then the practice led me to Plum Village, France, where Thich Nhat Hahn practices with other Buddhist monks. It was time to apply what I learned and so trekked 300km along the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage through the Pyrenees across Spain to the church of Santiago where it is believed the remains of St. James are kept. I was committed to making changes in my own life, facing challenges in a new way, opening myself up to the adventure of life, and sharing my experiences with others.

Following my travels, my personal path became clear. I earned an Integrative Holistic Health Coach certification, became a certified Registered Yoga Instructor and Mindfulness practitioner. With much effort and courage, I have created the lifestyle that fulfills me – mind, body and spirit.

Practice with me. Together, we will explore health and wellness by creating better eating habits, practicing physical movement you enjoy and learning ways to live a richer life. Through coaching, my goal is that you achieve a greater self-awareness, build confidence, a greater sense of self-worth and feel empowered to maintain overall wellness.
